Only thing that surprised me was that he ran away from Kalabhavan Mani which is atypical of a Rajini movie in the last 2 decades (not one since Rajadhi Raja).<br /><br />For the kind of director and lead actor involved, especially after their previous outing Sivaji, I expected the movie to suck. I too felt the movie was a little long but that is acceptable :) .
